The Global KYC Quality Control Manager is responsible for managing a team of analysts performing Quality Control (QC) reviews for various processes performed by the Risk Processes and Risk Evaluation teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the day-to-day activities of a team of QC analysts

  • Interacting with the Risk Processes and Risk Evaluation teams to resolve individual file errors identified during QC reviews, to identify patterns and trends related to quality errors and following up on any corrective or remedial actions taken by the teams to improve quality

  • Working with the Risk Processes and Risk Evaluation teams to update procedures based on QC review findings

  • Coordinating training and advising on QC matters

  • Assisting with the implementation of the global QC Program

  • Performing assessments on QC analyst reviews to ensure QC expertise is maintained and reviews are on-point

  • Serving as the point of escalation for QC issues from the Risk Processes, Risk Evaluation and Regional KYC teams

  • Assisting with preparation of KYC Assurance Subcommittee materials related to QC

  • Performing MCA testing and monitoring for the QC work stream

  • Assisting with project management for implementation projects related to QC


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 of years experience in AML Compliance, preferably related to performing enhanced due diligence reviews of high risk clients, reviews of client transactions and/or AML investigations

  • Work experience in a financial institution with job specific work experience in AML

  • Knowledgeable of the laws applicable to money laundering including the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, US Treasury AML guidelines, OFAC requirements and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements

  • General understanding of Senior Public Figures, Money Service Businesses, Correspondent Banks and Nonbank Financial Institutions

  • Established business knowledge and comprehension of financial products and services

  • Highly motivated, self-starter capable of working independently, without supervision

  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills

  • Strong research, analytical and writing skills as well as the ability to understand and draw conclusions from research

  • Must be able to multi-task, follow up on tasks and complete projects on time

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Proficiency in second language a plus but not required

  • Experience managing a team or projects
