Kellogg Country Distributor - Operations Representative in Costa Rica
Grow with us as Country Distributor – Operations Representative in the Kellogg LA Team. In this position you will be responsible for leading the execution of the Category Plans and Route to Market programs and thereby reach business targets at store level. He/she participates in the development/alignment and leads the execution of the Distributor Joint Business from the Sales Force / Retail Operations perspective. The Operations Representative is responsible for (a) supporting a quality Distributor-Kellogg Engagement Process from the retail operations standpoint, (b) lead Category Plans Execution to secure excellence at store level and reach the initiative targets, (c) lead the Channel/Route to Market expansion with focus on Numeric Distribution and 5P’s Execution and (d) Develop Distributor Sales Force capacity through a close training and supervision. He/she is accountable for P&L Metrics (Volume, Net Sales, Margin), Market variables (Numeric Distribution, Share of Market) and Route to Market Indicators (Quality Coverage, Effectiveness, Share of Shelf/Displays). The CDOR is accountable for an operation according with KLA policies and procedures.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In this role, you will be part of our success by:
Actively participate in the Joint Business Planning development/alignment to ensure sufficiency of plans to deliver 5P’s / in-store presence targets. Lead the execution of the Retail Operations agreements included in the JBP.
Secure quality engagement with Distributor Sales Managers and play a leadership role with the Distributor Sales Force
Execute tracking with excellence via Monthly Scorecarding, Quarterly and Business Reviews.
Provide continuous input in ICPB/S&OP process, bringing the outside perspective to company planning process
Provide regular perspective to Customer Marketing/Marketing/Finance to secure Sufficiency of plans to achieve country targets
Lead Category Plans execution, deliver excellence and efficiency in at store level.
Drive HFS Channel Route to Market expansion via Quality Coverage/Effectiveness and 5P’s execution (Tienda Bonita)
Drive superior In-Store Presence in Modern Trade customers via 5P’s execution (OOS, Shelf, CheckOut, Display, Feature)
Co-lead with Distributor resources the JBP process with local Retailer/Key Accounts
Co-lead the Distributor Sales Force optimizing structure, roles, processes to deliver business targets in an efficient and effective way
Secure an operation within Kellogg company policies and procedures. Be a champion in Internal Controls compliance
Lead the Training program for direct reports as well as for Distributor Sales Force and Managers
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
2-4 years of experience within CPG Companies
Specific Experience: Sales Force supervision
People manager experience: requested
Deep Knowledge required on: Local market dynamics, Multi-Channel experience (HFS and Modern Trade)
Proven skills required: Deliver Results, Acts Decisively, Leadership
Spanish proficiency. English desirable.
