Position Purpose:

This position is responsible for resolving short payments, deductions, unapplied cash and full disputes raised by the collections process. The average value of open disputes per dispute coordinator is in excess of $1 myn. Dispute Coordinators are accountable for identifying root cause issues. In addition, this position is responsible for working with customers and our internal business partners on eliminating future dispute and reducing the number of days disputes remain open. We value optimal customer service, while focusing on processing efficiencies and supporting a team environment.

Main Accountabilities:

60% Contact customer, research and determine root cause and reason for short payments, deductions, unapplied cash and full invoice disputes raised by collections. Obtain supporting documentation and appropriate business unit authorization for billing adjustments and write-offs.

30% Demonstrate ownership of dispute resolution by taking action within expected time frame. Persistent follow-up, problem resolution and escalation of issues.

10% Partner with Cargill customer and business unit to investigate and analyze solutions to eliminate future disputes.

Qualifications

Required:

2 year associate degree or equivalent business experience

Problem solving and analytical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook, etc)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail

Strong Customer Service skills

Proficiency in English B2

Preferred:

Accounts Recievable experience

SAP Experience

JDE Experience
