This position is responsible for collecting customer past due balances according to established collection strategies. The average portfolio size is in excess of $50 myn with average past due balances of $10 myn. This position performs Business to- business collections and is the front line for escalating cash flow concerns to our business partners. In addition, this position is accountable for identifying disputes resulting in delay of payment and collaborating with our customers and business partners to improve payment cycle time. We value optimal customer service, while focusing on processing efficiencies and supporting a team environment.
65% Manage past due accounts according to established collection strategies. Document customer contact and correspondence regarding delay of payment.
35% Partner with accounts receivable analyst, dispute coordinator, customer and business unit to improve payment cycle time. Escalate issues upon discovery of cash flow concerns and other factors preventing timely payment.
2 year Associate Degree or equivalent business experience
Problem solving and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook, etc)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Strong Customer Service skills
English B2 level
Accounts Receivable experience
