Job Description:

The Jr. Accountant responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Stabilize accounting processes of the 3M’s subsidiaries

• Generate monthly journal entries

• Generate reconciliation information and follow up open item in the balance sheet accounts reconciliation

• Maintaining chart of account information

• Identify process improvement opportunities and lead team in implementing them

Required Qualifications

• Accounting degree and experience preferred

• Between 1-2 years of continuous experience

• Minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent

• Fluent English

• Knowledge proficent in Microsoft Excel

• A problem solver with a client service and quality oriented mindset

• Prior process migration experience

• Excellent communication skills

• Team oriented person who can focus on the details

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred experience working within Service Center environment with direct experience with GL, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and/or Inter-Company

• Process improvement experience – Lean Six Sigma

• Working knowledge of A/S400 and/or SAP
