Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as level 2 technical support for small to medium problem resolution. Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated system issues.

  • Provide operations support for SAP systems and technical infrastructure, including but not limited to transport administration, printer administration and system monitoring.

  • Resolve incidents (i.e. break/fix, etc.) and service requests that are assigned to them.

  • Collaborate as needed with other SAP support team members.

  • Track system activity to ensure the service is operational as defined by SLAs.

  • Meet or exceed established SAP Support Service Level Agreement (SLA).

  • Update procedures, operation instructions, and any other documentation impacted by system changes.

  • May be required to travel internationally if needed.

  • Off hours on-call support may be required.

  • Queue management in conjunction with the technical leads in specified areas.

  • Ensure requirements are being met in accordance with corporate compliance.

  • Work as part of the global 24/7 organization.

  • Support of day-to-day operations of SAP systems and interfaces.

  • SAPGUI desktop installation and configuration.

  • Track system activity to ensure the service is operational as defined by SLAs.

  • Printer administrator and monitoring the health of the system.

  • Operating system support of SAP systems and related interfaces.

  • Collaborate as needed with other SAP support team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Min 2 years professional experience in the IT field min. 1 year, of Basis administration experience.

  • SAP Basis experience in SAP environment with multiple module and applications.

  • Experience working in a global support environment.

  • Individual must be detail oriented, self-directed and have strong independent problem solving skills.

  • The ability to multi-task is inherent in the job responsibilities.

  • Ability to develop and exercise task specific project plans with minimal supervision.

  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

  • Proficient and fluent in English for all written and verbal communication.
