Job Purpose:

Support the US CCB KYC Risk and Control and production teams from an Operations and Business Analysis perspective. Provide expertise and analytics on business solutions to deliver fact-based information on specific.

Projects - Participates in the development, tracking and direction of special projects for Risk and Control on key areas such as Process and Procedures, Training, Controls and Production.

Process and Procedures - development, delivery and maintenance of the process and procedures for the North America Citi Commercial Bank Business Support Unit (NAM CCB BSU).

Training – Support the Business Support Unit (BSU) trainer on the successful execution of training, onboarding, development of training materials and reporting metrics to various constituents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consults with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems and input and output requirements access

  • Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes

  • Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents business rules (where applicable), functions and requirements

  • Directs or participates in studies of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility, resolve problems including organizational, procedural, technical and fiscal research and analysis; develops process and procedures to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and/or improve internal and external customer service; develops information system documentation to support efficient operations; prepares reports and written findings and recommendations; monitors changes

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design

  • Assist in the development and delivery of global training solutions for NAM CCB BSU and coverage organization via live or virtual classroom settings

  • Assist in development of planned and ad hoc training materials and programs, both written and electronic

  • Constant review with management in training opportunities and development

  • Progressively provide weekly reports to ensure objectives met

  • Build & maintain positive working relationships across a number of business units

  • Work with peers across multiple teams to ensure successful project implementation

  • Participate and contribute to implement best practices and development standards

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

  • More than 3 years total customer experience in customer service roles, banking related services, etc.

  • Bachelor degree in English studies, Business administration, Economics, Engineering or related field.

Skills:

  • History of performance in a high-pressure, financial services environment with tight deadlines

  • Experience in writing and delivering policy and procedure programs across multiple geographies

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook

  • Solid planning and organizational skills

  • Strong business interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience/knowledge of AML-KYC compliance and regulatory requirements and objectives

  • Knowledge of various Citi ICG businesses and products desired

  • Language skills in addition to English a plus (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese)

  • Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management is a plus
