Job Purpose:

The TPU Data Management & Performance Reporting Analyst IV will be responsible for executing day-to-day reporting activities in support of Citi’s Third Party Management Program, including the results of the activities supported and performed by the ESC TPU. Reporting activities will also include the monitoring of Citi businesses’ compliance to policies and standards, the ESC TPU’s performance to established SLAs and reporting book of work, and ensuring data accuracy for the reporting of third-party related metrics. In addition to the daily reporting activities, this role is responsible for generating ad-hoc reporting and related presentations for senior management.

Job Background/Context:

Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) reports in to the Enterprise Infrastructure group which in turn is part of the Citigroup Enterprise O&T division.

ESC aims to deliver world-class end to end supply chain operations to Citigroup through Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management, Supplier Risk Management and Supply Chain Operations including purchase processing and payables.

Enterprise Supply Chain Controls and Governance is expanding and enhancing its operating model. A key priority for the team is to help strengthen Citi’s Third Party Management framework and program. Integral to this new framework is establishing, supporting and managing the new Third Party Utility (TPU), responsible for delivering standardized Citi-wide third party management processes.

The TPU provides operational support, process guidance, and quality assurance and quality control oversight to businesses across Citi, leveraging a central utility infrastructure, standardized processes and operating procedures in order to execute robust risk management activities throughout the third-party management life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term, strategic reporting solutions and tools that generate consistent outputs using automation methodologies to improve report creation cycle times whilst reducing manual processing and the potential for human error.

  • Develop user generated management reports and tools.

  • Responsible to ensure data quality and standardization and support data retention plans within the TPU.

  • Review and strategically analyze data providing credible challenges to, and robust quality checks of, such results where they appear erroneous or exceptional.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

  • Additional responsibilities include:

  • Aggregate data from multiple systems and sources to provide performance management scorecards and other metrics related to Citi’s third-party risk portfolio, including reporting by:

  • Third-party relationship level

  • Third-party level

  • Risk management process

  • Sector and Region

  • Citi business

  • Interpret data and metrics to produce valuable insight to the overall health of third-party relationships, identifying potential risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.

  • Develop ad hoc senior management presentations and reports.

  • Develop and hold advanced reporting tool training to improve the standard of reporting capabilities across the TPU globally.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Preferred 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, MIS reporting and / or third-party management

  • Experienced in using Angular JS 1.0, JQuery, HTML5 and/or Bootstrap3

  • Experienced with SharePoint REST API, SPServices, SharePoint Data Model, SharePoint Designer and SharePoint backend preferred.

Skills:

  • English & Spanish Fluency.

  • Strong organization skills, with proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities

  • Detail oriented, with strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to understand complex data and condense into key themes, with prior experience producing accurate and detailed analysis / reporting, including preparation of recommendations for management

  • Ability to develop strong partnership with stakeholders

  • Ability to generate succinct and meaningful communications and presentations for senior management, as needed

  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English (both written and verbal)

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with an advanced skill level in MS SharePoint (strong experience with SharePoint designer, developing solutions)

  • Advanced knowledge in Excel how to create and write VBA, SQL and develop macros

  • Advanced knowledge in Access how to create and write VBA, SQL and develop macros

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, for example COGNOS.

  • Ability to design and develop customized front end web solutions and manage interim tools (VBA programming essential with MS SharePoint, SQL development experience preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science, or related field preferred.

  • Required: High degree of functional fluency in English and Spanish (business and technical). Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish over-the-phone.
