IS COB & Controls Sr. Analyst

Job Purpose:

Responsible for Leading and coordinating Issue management processes within CIO/CTI LATAM and Mexico Risk and control organization.

The LATAM CTI and Tech Regional Risk and Control Office supports approximately 5000+ personnel in 21 countries within the Technology Latin American organization. The entities supported include Data Center Delivery and Implementation Services, Regional Delivery and Risk, Data Center Operations and Support, Customer Operations, network and voice infrastructure, Business Aligned Services Managers, CTI Project Management Office and Application management and Development for ICG, GFTS, and Holdings. Responsibility for supervising 3 or 4 employees (Direct or Indirect).

This individual will be responsible to coordinate the process of issue registration and action plans definition to manage the risk. Including validation of corrective actions plans soundness (funding, project alignment, metrics, and deliverables). This role will be responsible for providing updates and coordinating process improvements with Global Control groups, ex: OTRC, OTRM, EIRM, etc.

As well this individual will be a team leader within the control and risk organization, acting as a manager for some topics as an issue management , global control & risk projects, single point of contact for control and risk initiatives, standardization programs, affiliates or new companies acquisition integrations, etc.

Monitoring CAPs progress, escalate any delays; obtain Management support to ensure plans are put back on track., working closely with line management to ensure CAPs are tracked on time to the committed target dates.

Support risk and control key initiatives as affiliates integration, global processes to country integration, global control standardization, mca standardization, global tools standardization, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective working relationships with Latmex senior business managers.

  • Lead several team members depending the role or initiative assigned.

  • Assist with Corrective Action Plans and the proper use of iCAPS for their assigned areas of coverage.

  • Assist with issue identification and action plans definition to manage the risk. Including validation of corrective actions plans soundness (funding, project alignment, metrics, and deliverables).

  • Generate and assess top level metrics and reporting.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Degree in Computer Information Systems, Accounting

  • 5 years’ experience with information technology services, or related disciplines, including process definition and development, audit, compliance review, and control assessment techniques.

  • English 80%.

  • CISA, CISM, CRISC or CISSP certifications desirable but not mandatory.

  • Availability to travel at least 25% of the time.

  • Standard MS Office tools, Desktops, Data & Voice platforms, Databases and Operating systems knowledge.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Successful candidate will be self-driven, highly motivated, and comfortable interacting with internal and external resources with versatile styles.

  • Technology Management (specifically technology infrastructure operational management and control), Information Technology, IT and Operational Risk Control, IT Security, Information Security, Continuity of Business, Data Networks and Program / Project Management knowledge.

  • Requires a familiarity of processes, systems, and network components as well as a working knowledge of Citigroup’s businesses and services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and MS Access.

  • Experience in dynamics environment: remaining calm and objective in a high pressure environment.

  • Sound, deep knowledge of risk and control methodology and best practices; preferably an understanding of Citi’s R&C programs (i.e. iCaps)

  • Program/Project management experience.

  • Prior experience interfacing with all levels of management including cross region collaboration.

Knowledgeable with Citi’s Expense Management Policy, Citi Supplier Selection and Management Policy, Citi’s Code of Conduct, Gift and Entertainment policies, etc. a plus.
