In partnership with HR in support of Citi employees, HR Shared Services (HRSS) provides services that deliver business and economic value to enable Human Resource objectives and Citi’s growth. HRSS has an impact on all aspects of the employee and non-employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement, including payroll, onboarding, career mobility, learning and development, talent and performance management, compensation and benefits.The System Operations Organization within HRSS brings together management of all HR Systems under one umbrella with a focus on globalization, standardization, and innovation.
The HRSS System Operations Implementation Manager is a project management role that drives strategy and executes on high priority small and medium sized projects, or individual workstreams within larger projects for the company. The incumbent will lead projects with cross functional teams and businesses to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. The successful candidate will be required to manage projects from planning to implementation, and provide guidance to projects teams, leadership and peers. The incumbent must exhibit excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels of the company inform and influence outcomes. This role will be accountable for the delivery of project commitments, both on time and on budget, while meeting or exceeding expectations.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
·Effectively drives project execution by quickly putting structure in place to manage work in a complex dynamic environment, while staying within the defined project scope and aligning resources to meet and overcome challenges to deliver expected results on time and within budget.
·Work closely with HRSS, HR partners and Technology, in the planning and implementation of global HR technology projects
·Design, develop and manage project plans to ensure projects are being documented appropriately and to mitigate risks.
·Ensure the completion of the full end-to-end process methodology for each project; with focus on process improvement, service delivery and ensuring appropriate service control mechanisms are in place.
·Providing feedback, guidance and taking responsibility for project deliverables while leading cross-functional team members through all phases of the project lifecycle including requirements definition, planning, development, launch and post launch.
·Define current state business processes, systems and organization structure for projects
·Facilitate book of work discussions and provide input to the future state product offering, business processes, systems and organization structure for all projects
·Represent various projects in operational and tactical system meetings providing feedback, answers and follow up, ensuring that accurate and detailed information is available when required
·Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners and program management, including Technology, Human Resources, vendor contacts, business managers and Shared Service teams across Citi.
·Advise program leads and management on project related items and contribute to the decision making process by coordinating, analyzing and valuating relevant costs, benefits, resources, system requirements, etc.
·Assist management and project stakeholders in understanding impacts of requests and changes to previously defined scope, including trade-offs and resource constraints.
·Identifies and communicates risks and issues impacting business rules, functional requirements and specifications, and develop effective change management and communication plans as applicable
·Coordinate communications with internal customers and stakeholders across multiple projects and teams
·Demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysis and communicateeffectively (verbal and written), to frame complex problems and deconstruct them into discrete analyses for team execution
·Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts, with a passion for coaching and guiding a team of associates.
·Adherence to all applicable laws, compliance and reporting requirements.

·Bachelor’s degree required, Management, Operations, Technology, Human Resources or related area.
·4-7 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience in project management, shared services, business process improvement and/or Human Resources disciplines.
·Team Lead, Project Management or general management experience strongly preferred
·Must have knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, and having knowledge of Lean Principles and/or PMP Certification preferred
·Experience with global HR Business Process Re-engineering / Transformational experiences
·Relationship management skills with the ability to handle conflict and negotiations
·Understanding of business process systems implementation and the standard SDLC protocols
·Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
·Strong presentation, communication, facilitation and influencing skills, both oral and written
·Excellent critical thinking and business acumen, with the ability to multi-task and handle short-term deadlines and conflicting priorities
·Exceptional self-leadership, partnership, teamwork and follow through
