This function includes responsibilities related to Basel RWA Risk-Finance reconciliations, analysis of variances and research of differences during and after month end activities along with the businesses. Understanding of Wholesale Bank products will facilitate the appropriate use of Global Organization Codes (GOCs) that will result in distribution of Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) to correct Managed Segments.

This position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis for month end process and ad hoc reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports to stakeholders.

  • Prepare monthly consolidation and financial variance analysis.

  • Coordinate financials questions/answers among Basel departments.

  • Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial statements as needed.

  • Provide analytical insight to key stakeholders.

  • Analysis of key management review decks for individual Regions & Products.

  • Ensure there is a strong culture of high integrity, ethics and meritocracy.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience/ Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis. Experience in risk analytics is a plus.

  • Accounting/GAAP knowledge.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)

  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Excellent Communication skills.

  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.

  • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical.

  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience on Financial Services is preferred but not essential.

  • Keen interest in business and economic environment.

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.

  • Ability to question status quo, and identify opportunities to reengineer/streamline processes.

  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback;

  • Proficiency with MS Office products.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
