Corporate & Regulatory Reporting Analyst 4

Job Purpose:

Responsible to support to the Regulatory Reporting Initiative that will integrate and automate the Legal Vehicle Reporting, SEC and Regulatory Reporting for North America and Latin America regions. A key component of this role is to participate in the definition of best practices, implementation and definition of the operating model. This analyst will work close with the Reporting team in the Country and FRO in order to identify inconsistency and escalate that using the new RRAI structure for different Regulatory Reports, such as QMemo, Cash Flow, FAS 107, CER among others.

Key Responsibilities:

·Manage the delivery of identified priority units which have been highlighted by the business as key deliverables.

·Produce reconciliations between current Regulatory reports (QMemo, Cash Flow, FR2436, CER and others) and RRI reports.

·Escalate issues to the appropriate parties identified during the reconciliation process and follow up it to ensure completeness

·Prepare decks that summarize the status for both regions LATAM and NAM

·Collaborate with Finance, Technology and other Financial Risk Operations teams in the implementation of Best-In-Class systems.

·Work close with the BAU team on the transition of the process

·Identify and highlight to manager possible show stoppers to move to the RRI

·Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.

·Work and performance of multiple teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

·Be the point of contact of different regions.

·Actively attend to the global and other committees meetings as representative.

·RRI Lead (LATAM/NAM/MX) depute.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

  • CPA / Financial Administration or related fields formation

  • Bachelor’s degree; minimum 5-10 years’ experience working in an accounting environment.

  • At 4 years at Citi

  • PMO skills

  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

Skills:

  • Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese is a plus

  • Good knowledge of USGAAP policies and US Regulatory is a plus

  • Good PC Skills (Excel and MS Office, databases, financial reporting systems - Access is a plus)

  • Good at using spreadsheets and databases to analyze information

  • Able to multitask, comfort with manipulating data and work in a fast paced environment.

  • Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.

  • Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area.
