The position is responsible for supporting the CAA Mexico lead for ensuring the quality and integrity of FRSS processes and final outputs for Financial, US Regulatory, Intercompany, Management Reporting and Accounting, Proofs and Reconciliations results for one of the largest constituencies in Citigroup, i.e, Mexico Controllers. The incumbent will support the CAA Mexico Team in establishing the new Close Analytics and Assurance for one of the Mexico Subsidiaries; assist in the development of the Controllers Review Package, partner closely with the different FRSS teams supporting the Mexico Subsidiary to establish the necessary building blocks in place to ensure scalability of the CAA model. The candidate will managed relationship with Finance counterparts collaborating closely with the different FRSS teams supporting Mexico to ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded.

  • Support the CAA Team to establish the Assurance, Analytics and Interface capability for FRSS across the Mexico Region.

  • Provide detailed analytical support for interpreting accounting changes, supporting complex transactions, reviewing internal controls, etc.

  • Support in the preparation and consolidation of the monthly Controllers Review Package.

  • Perform data integrity and quality checks, validation reviews, analysis of FRSS outputs, performance results, trends, financial and report variances across all FRSS functions and processes, i.e. Financial and US Regulatory Reporting, Balance Sheet Controls, Operations and General Accounting, Management Reporting and System Operations.

  • Provides the pertinent financial and management information reports to facilitate the needs of the Regional finance constituency.

  • Support the CAA Team to serve as the primary point of contact to resolve issues across all FRSS processes and as the single interface with Mexico finance constituency.

  • Support to drive the end-to-end corrective actions and sustainable fixes to address operational issues and service standards breakages.

  • Support in the reviews adequacy of internal controls in the record-to-report processes and oversees that procedures are in place to identify and mitigate risks.



Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working in a Finance environment.

  • Advanced EXCEL skills required.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Deadline driven.

  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to build relationships with both internal and external business partners.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral required. Fluency in English required..

  • Detail oriented with excellent organization skills.

  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills are essential.

Previous banking experience preferred.
