We’re seeking a Senior Collector, based inour Santa Ana, Costa Rica office. This role is crucial for the payments organization as it helps support the daily operations, and it aids the associates with questions and escalations supporting both Collections and digital payments ops.

  • This role Reports to a Payments Supervisor, it's primaryresponsibility is Payments operations including collections and paymentsand refund escalations under minimum supervision.

  • It supports the process to contact customers to determine reasonfor payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment by placing outboundcalls which are non-routine and require deviation from standard screens,scripts, and procedures.

  • Handles situations which may require adaptation of response orextensive research according to customer response.

  • Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering,and/or troubleshooting.

  • May answer inquiries and resolve problems.

  • Requires extensive knowledge of the organization, products, and/orservices.

  • May require advanced problem solving.

  • Requires ability to navigate a computerized data entry system orother relevant applications.

  • High school diploma completed

  • Open for feedback and ability to adapt quickly

  • Capacity to work under pressure.

  • Microsoft Office savvy

  • 1 year of finance, accounting or collectionsexperience

  • At least one year in sole credit and collections.

  • Schedule flexibility

  • At least 9 months in current position

  • No warnings during the past 6 months

What will make you stand out:

  • SQL and Hadoop knowledge is a plus

  • Advanced excel is a Plus

  • Experience in supervisory roles is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree desired.
