Mondelez International is looking for: Payroll Application Support Analyst.
The HR Solutions Payroll Application Support Analyst is accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of payroll ensuring compliance, non-standard payroll processes and projects for the complex North America (US & Canada) payroll for approximately 22,000 employees with various, separate union agreements.
This position sits in the “Operations bubble” of the organization’s 3 circle HR model.
The HR Solutions Payroll Application Support Analyst is accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of payroll ensuring compliance, non-standard payroll processes and projects for the complex North America (US & Canada) payroll for approximately 22,000 employees with various, separate union agreements. This position sits in the “Operations bubble” of the organization’s 3 circle HR model.
Support payroll processes for both scheduled and non-schedule updates to maintain our payroll delivery model, and represent payroll on other systems projects which impact payroll. Representation will be required for support system changes and HR policies impacted the End-to-End payroll for accurate and timely net payroll outcomes.
Execute testing scripts, including interfaces with vendors, end-to-end testing for Sox, audits, payroll incidents and enhancements
Contributes to an environment that is passionate about simplification, and seeks ways to make the process and service simpler and more cost effective for the business
Foster strong relationships within the HR Solutions team in particular with wider payroll, Compensation, Benefits, & HR Coordinators
Monitors payroll processes and executes changes in line with regulatory and compliance requirements and ensures payroll is run in line with internal and external controls requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of 21 hours of Accounting at the College Level.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
Minimum of 2 years payroll experience as part of a minimum of 4 years related work experience (eg accounting) experience
Experience in a complex payroll environment
Experience with outsourced payroll delivery including vendor management
Experience with US & Canada payroll is ideal
Union payroll experience
Experience managing corporate audits
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, SAP & payroll applications
Must be willing to travel within North America if needed for testing, training, or specific business needs (maybe once or twice per year)
Strong Interpersonal skills, effectively works autonomously and independently with minimal guidance
Customer orientation with regard to the payroll service and working with internal departments
Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to exercise sound judgment.
Good organizational skills.
Drive for results with the ability to work within tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritize effectively.
Ability to work as a member of a team
Ability make sound decision for processes and/or raise issues appropriately to the Senior Payroll Manager for required support
