We’re seeking a Sr Financial Analyst based in our San Jose, Costa Rica office. In this role, you will partner with our employees and the organizations that support our business which is critical to both the success of the individual and the business.
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will assist the Accounting department with support for Oracle EBS and other applicable corporate financial systems, such as HFM and Blackline. This position also supports the critical month end close process for Western Union financials.
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst position fills a role that bridges the gap between IT and the business, providing IT knowledge to accounting and accounting experience to IT, making smooth transitions to every day support. This position serves as a liaison between the internal/external business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Translates high-level, complex business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, manages changes to such specifications and educates the IT organization on the direction of the business.

Support and maintain the Oracle EBS financial system including the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, procurement and other applicable modules
Administer security to various financial systems
Perform training of new users and refresher training to existing users
Participate in and perform enhancements and upgrades
Support and assist both 3rd party support providers, as well as, 2500 system users worldwide
Performs additional job duties as required.
What you will need to succeed:
3+ years’ experience with Oracle EBS support (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and procurement)
General Accounting experience is preferred
Strong technical background
Strong English communication skills
Effective communicator with the ability to work well with multiple teams and individuals
Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to articulate ideas, both written and verbal, to technical and non- technical teams
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
