We’re seeking an Associate, AML Compliance (CCB)based in our Santa Ana, Costa Rica office . In this role,you will beresponsible for ensuring proper due diligence interviews are made by performing complex duties with high level technical/business knowledge in the areas of customer interviews and transaction analysis related to Western Union Compliance programs. You will manage money transfers where further investigation is needed over the phone or other off-line applications in support of consumers globally.

  • Effectivelyperform inbound and outbound phone interviews and offline tasks.

  • Analyzeconsumer activity to identify consumer fraud, AML typologies, suspiciouspatterns, alignment to regulatory requirements or internal western unionpolicies.

  • Empowered tomake business decisions that impact the customer and business.

  • Multilingualcommunication skills to manage and assist Western Union customers in a fastpace, complex environment.

  • Deliver highquality and productivity results that meet the identified targets.

  • Perform duediligence interviews to validate that purpose of transaction and relationshipfollows internal guidelines.

  • Accuratedocumentation and record keeping within multiple systems to ensure end to endvisibility and case decision making across the compliance programs.

  • Continuouslearning of a rapidly changing regulatory / operations environment andapplication of industry’s best practices.

  • Complyingwith rigid schedule adherence requirements to deliver ongoing support 365 daysa year.

  • Understandand perform in alignment with Western Union’s Behavior’s and Key Priorities.

  • Strongknowledge of English: Outstanding oral, written, and listening skills tocommunicate effectively at all levels.

  • Provenrecord of working cohesively with team members and ability to workindependently or under low supervision when necessary.

  • Scheduleflexibility.

  • Self-motivatedand able to multi-task as well as work well in a dynamic and rapidly changingenvironment.

  • Able tofocus in achieving operational metrics on daily and monthly basis.
