Abbott Sr. Trade Marketing Manager CADR in San Jose, Costa Rica

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will be based in Costa Rica.

  • The incumbent will create and develop strategies for each franchise for the development of channels in each country (8 in total) in CADR including: segmentation and classification of clients, definition of priority portfolio per channel, development of commercial platforms, development of commercial initiatives per customer and channel as well as for key accounts, channel visibility strategies, development support and education material for vendors, merchandisers and pharmacy program and ensure the proper development of administration of categories for the main channels.

  • All the above must meet the guidelines established for the communication to the consumer and WHO Code, to be implemented by the distributors along with the Trade Operations and Trade Managers in the Region at the point of sale (POS) or selected, in a cost-effective way and defined time using the resources allocated to achieve the objectives.

  • Will create and develop together with the Trade Director the regional structure necessary for Trade Marketing for the proper development of the business in CADR in the medium term.

  • Will define and implement the necessary processes along with the different teams (Trade, Trade marketing, Demand Generation and Marketing) the development of commercial initiatives including annual, quarterly and monthly revisions together with the distributors.

  • Must define and meet the necessary KPI´s for proper control and development of its Department.

  • Will also lead and manage the activities of promotion and sale for private sales of ANI, to achieve the sales, profitability and market share objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Marketing or Sales function within the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industries.

  • Experience in leadership positions with direct reports.

  • Excellent communication skills in english and spanish.

  • Strategic thinking, driven for result and analytical skills are required.
