JOB SUMMARY :
The Operations Service Manager directs and supports ACS personnel in all operations-related activities and in non-routine situations for mainline and connection carriers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
On-the-job training of all check-in/ticketing personnel and support for all problem solving (not only technical problems).
Monitoring of all contractor activities, both above and under wing, (especially those closer to the aircraft) that includes, but may not be limited to, safety, security and technical compliance.
Support Station Manager in all administrative duties (budgeting/cost control/invoice processing), Completes and forwards statistics, reports, inventories, passenger complaints, insurance claims response.
Supports Delta's leadership values and keeps communication and coordination channels with Delta management, with peers within and outside the station, with staff, with direct reports and with contractor supervisors in order to keep awareness on DL procedures and local airport procedures (with particular attention to Safety/Security matters).
Maintain Delta Customer Service standards, keep front line group (both DL and contractors) up-to-date and therefore conscious and motivated.
Supplies ordering, equipment and facilities/building maintenance (as mandated and in coordination with the STM).
Coordination of emergency situations (in support of, or in Station Manager's absence).
Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

College degree or relevant work experience required.
Experience in airport Below Wing required, Above Wing a plus.
Applicant should have good analytical skills and deductive reasoning skills.
Fluent English and Spanish language skills required.
Must possess valid documentation to work and reside in Costa Rica.
Applicant should be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
The ability to manage multiple projects or tasks and provide reliable, high-quality results under stressful situations in a fast-paced environment required.
Must be comfortable working with highly sensitive and confidential information and materials.
Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Must be comfortable communicating to all levels of people - both internal and external
