VMware Senior Sales Operations Analyst, Americas Commercial Sales in Heredia, Costa Rica

This role will participate in and support one of the major and growing sales segments in the Americas, by providing day to day operational support to Business Partners; participating in activities such as sales productivity, forecasting and funnel analysis, and field automation initiatives while working closely with the overall Commercial Sales Operations Team and respective Commercial Sales VP and Management Team.

Primary Responsibilities

As a key business partner supporting the Commercial Sales & Sales Operations Team:

  • Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount, and sales plans

  • Partner with Sales Leaders to maintain metrics and data points related to key areas (e.g. Forecast and Pipeline)

  • Assist with the compensation planning for the regional sales team; help establish and manage commission plans and monitor quota performance

  • Monitor territory account updates and ad-hoc requests

  • Help Solve day to day operational problems that may arise in the sales field such as account alignment, commissions, and order issues

  • Strive to foster relationship as a trusted advisor to respective Sales Leaders and Sales Operations Team

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or Finance preferably in IT environment

  • Superior analytical skills

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • Self-starter with excellent time and project management skills

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

  • Strength in researching, understanding and succinctly explaining complex business issues and analyzing business impacts

  • Experience using CRM applications; Salesforce.com a plus

  • Experience in an Enterprise software sales environment a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
