VMware Planning & Strategy Manager, Global Operations in Heredia, Costa Rica


Foundational Practices Team (FPT) is a part of the Global Business Operations (GBO) group within VMware. This team is chartered to drive consistency and maturity in specific aspects of people, operational & scale practices* in different operations group within VMware.

*E.g. practices - Globally consistent reward & recognition strategy, streamline vendor governance & management across locations, global site dashboard as a strategic tool to manage & drive investments etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible to drive design and strategy for various programs that foundational practices undertake. Specific responsibilities include -

·Engage with senior mgmt. stakeholder to identify and validate various opportunities for driving consistency under the charter for foundational practices

·Perform a high level feasibility check of opportunities and articulate the program proposition - business case, objective/ problem statement, benefits realization

·Conceptualize the overall approach strategy, evangelize program intent to different group of stakeholders and secure high level buy-in

·Engage with SMEs within VMware to co-create the solution. Ensure completeness of solution by blending consultative approach

·Engage with execution team to co-create change, adoption & rollout strategy

·Articulate program benefits to stakeholders
