  • Ensure that the Scrum Teams are working effectively towards efficiencies and productivity to execute on business objectives being delivered with high quality standards.

  • Ensure that the most valuable metrics are captured, accurate, and visible at all times plus metric trends are gathered over time and the meaning behind those metrics.

  • Ensure people/teams are understood, their motivations, interactions, and weakness.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a servant leader scrum master for two or more development teams.

  • Doing everything possible to ensure delighting customers.

  • Guides the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices & values.

  • Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization.

  • Identifies and removes impediments for the Scrum teams by finding the right personnel to resolve issues.

  • Protects teams from both internal and external distractions, improves transparency, and radiates information.

  • Facilitates by getting the work done without coercion or dictating the work.

  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.

  • Strong understanding of agile Scrum practices (e.g., sprints, estimation, prioritization, burndown tracking, release planning/scoping)

  • Strong understanding of agile Scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, demonstrations, retrospectives, Meta Scrum, Scrum of Scrums)

  • Strong understanding of software delivery, particularly in the software environment (e.g., understanding of development and test environments)

  • Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban concepts (e.g., grooming user stories, managing the backlog, WIP)

  • Awareness of Agile technology practices (e.g., Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing)

  • Supports and educates the Product Owner on scrum best practices, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

  • Holds regular sprint reviews to demonstrate finished work to stakeholders and celebrate team achievements.

  • Ability to track and manage agreed scope and changes to scope.

  • Ability to work closely with delivery teams to establish expectations and ensure tasks remain on track.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years working within an agile or scrum methodology environment on a software development team diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

  • Must have experience managing multiple, concurrent software projects involving cross functional groups.

  • Must have strong skills in critical tools including Excel, Powerpoint, Confluence & issue tracking systems utilizing Jira.

  • Must understand the fundamentals of iterative development, software development procedures, & software release processes for enterprise software.

  • Must possess strong analytical and communication skills, a risk mitigation mindset and exhibit appropriate levels of urgency.

  • Proven leadership capabilities in effective negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement skills

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience

  • Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers

  • Must be able to clear the company‚Äôs pre-employment screening

Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus):

  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies (C#, C+, SQL) used by the scrum teams.

  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Understands the value of commitments to delivery.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
