Windows System Administrator
This position provides overall Regional BAU support to Sector’s Unix or Windows environments for Latin-American Operations.
This Individual will work closely with the GCPS MW SA, DBA and SME teams and with the Technology and Development organizations ensuring the health of their applications hosted in CTI’s Unix and Windows environments.
Provide thought leadership for Distributed & Business Aligned solutions for the region.
Collaborate with client managers, project managers, applications and infrastructure teams to plan and coordinate changes.
Manage the technical deliverables for projects to high quality standards.
Establish and maintain effective incident contact procedures.
When incident contact procedures do not work, act as primary escalation for problems and incidents.
Accountable for root cause analysis for Severity 1, Severity 2 and chronic recurring incidents.
Lead the virtual team. Provide recommendations to B/RSLs on team size, structure, and membership.
At least 3-5 years of experience in enterprise level IT projects in web technologies (Red Hat Linux, AIX, Solaris, HPUX [desirable]) or Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, etc.
Certification in technologies a plus
24x7 operational support experience
Experience with issues facing large scale server environments

Demonstrated experience with various technologies such as Red Hat Linux, AIX, Solaris and HPUX.
Familiarity with .NET / IIS, SharePoint and database products such as Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server and ANSI SQL
Demonstrated experience supporting complex Server Infrastructure products in a business critical environment.
