VMware General Ledger Analyst in Heredia, Costa Rica

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts of assigned entities

  • Inter-company reconciliations between assigned entities and other related entities in the group

  • Maintain and reconcile all sub-ledgers to General Ledger – fixed assets and cash for e.g. preparation of prepaid, accruals, reserves & retained earnings, inter-company, fixed assets, cash, cost plus and other reconciliations in the required format for further review at regional finance level

  • Run revaluation, translation in foreign currencies SOB’s and explain fluctuations on realized and unrealized gains/losses each month

  • Assist in maintenance of documentation of policies, procedures and controls

  • Prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end journals entries and schedules

  • Assist with the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close including responsibility for successful close of assigned entities

  • Support statutory audits at regional level by preparing requested schedules and reconciliations

  • Prepare and maintain account reconciliations as part of month-end procedures

  • Assist with monthly analytics for month end review by management

  • Prepare internal and external reporting schedules

  • Preparation of cash flow/forecast reports

Applications/Technical Skills:

  • Oracle Financials/SAP, MS Office, Other Accounting Software

  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting

  • Graduation in Accounting
