IBM Cloud Windows Administrator in HEREDIA, Costa Rica

This position is for a Systems Administrator for a mixed and growing environment of Microsoft Windows Server technologies within the IBM Cloud. This position will work with the existing Windows Cloud team to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support servers for a mixed customer environment. This position will execute and implement new projects to create and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed. This position will need to be adept at monitoring and tuning system performance, ongoing operation of the servers, hardening of the servers and reporting of the overall security and operational status.The position will also recommend improvements to the enterprise, and manage new software integrations when required. The position will need excellent communication and team skills. This position will provide support multiple versions of Microsoft Windows Server across the IBM Cloud environment. This position also requires basic knowledge in VMware technologies.As a Windows System Administrator your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Perform day to day troubleshooting and maintenance of virtual servers Performing System hardening and documentation Installing software Creating and maintaining system documentation and Standard Operating Procedures Applying operating system updates Managing user accounts in Windows Active Directory

3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2 Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Basic knowledge in Vmware 5.5 and 6.0 ITIL life-cycle knowledge
