Main Responsibilities:

  • Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable):

  • Process all vendor invoices and credit notes received based on PO matching

  • Process all intercompany invoices (end to end process)

  • Process Paperless Payment request on daily basis and to ensure all PPRs completed before the scheduled payment run dates.

  • Prepare Top 5 Supplier statement reconciliations at month end before WD12, and reviewed by Team Lead.

  • Respond to daily Supplier Ad hoc statement reconciliations and any variances are communicated to supplier & Payables team.

  • Ensure PO matching for all AP invoices, and non PO manual entry invoices

  • Process leavers alert.

Employee Travel Expenses:

  • Process & audit employee travel expense reports (Purchasing card/Travel & Expense cards/cash claims) according to country audit rule/tax regulations

  • Ensure all queries/rejections are taken into action well before the payment run dates

  • Review and respond to travel expense payment queries received from employees


  • Participate in Oracle User Acceptance Test for any enhancement or customisation in the system.

  • Continuous process improvements to improve the current process and active participant in Empower Workshop.

  • Work closely with overseas payables team to increase efficiencies.

  • Respond to the payables mailbox daily within the SLA.

  • Support on future Payables ad hoc task migration to KL SSC

  • KPI reporting monthly


Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

• At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Strong English language skills

• Willing to be a team player, providing assistance when required to others and working together to achieve common goals.

• Ability to work in a high volume, transaction orientated environment.

• Able to set priorities and manage own time to meet deadlines and objectives within SSC team.

• Initiative to do above and beyond the required task.
