The Cost Accountant will be responsible for transitioning RTR and costing activities from 3M’s subsidiaries; and the end-to-end RTR process. The scope may also include product costing (PCIV) activities.
Migrating accounting activities from 3M’s subsidiaries
The end-to-end RTR process: journal entries, month-end close, account reconciliations
Product costing (PCIV), including gross margin analysis
Identifying and implementing process improvements
25% travel may be required for migration activities, valid passport and visa required
Advanced English Skills
Costing inventory experience
Prior shared service center accounting experience
Prior process migration experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A self-starter, with an excellent track record of delivering results
A process improvement mindset
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Prior shared service center experience with a large multi-national
Lean Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodology certification
